So arrived in Bolivia, and it's a shade cooler than Miami's 30C. According to the pilot it was -6C when we landed.

The locals are all wrapped up, so that's a sign the pilot may have been correct. The sun's coming up and the sky is clear blue. There are mountains in the near distance and according to Wiki this airport is at over 4000m altitude, so we're all feeling a little light headed; Diamox downed in preparation for what's to come. We're only here for a couple of hours before yet another flight to Cochabamba. There we should get some rest before meeting our steeds for the next 2wks.
