Are we there yet? 8hrs from Heathrow, in Miami, and we're not even half way there yet. Bolivia is a long way away.

Negotiating Heathrow is like visiting a sprawling town on its own. Heathrow has its own rail system, shopping centres, restaurants, gyms and hotels, heck you could have a holiday here before you've even left the country. And you'd need a holiday after passing though it. It's so big, it adds delay to your journey and makes me appreciate Brussels' provincial airport feel.

Miami is typical US airport fayre, big like Heathrow, sprawling and uniform to the extreme. This could be Dulles, Denver or Dallas you'd never know. Ok maybe not enough ten gallon hats to be Dallas, and there are no tornado shelters in the toilets like Denver, but uniformity is the way.

But I know we must be getting closer to Bolivia, because I can hear Spanish everywhere.
