After 30km of dust and dirt across the Altiplano, I wonder if I scrub up well?

Must be relatively warmer at lower altitude, hence your "casual" dress.
I zoomed this shot. You actually look somewhat haggard, sun-drenched or snow-burnt compared to your whitey-whitey color ordinarily. So which it? It is near Winter down there so the temperatures at these high altitudes cannot be that high.
Cold and windy at altitude. Plus I'm no spring chicken anymore. But when the sun comes out it becomes warmish when stationary. Altitude means UV is higher, hence tan.
