Biker Dom explores on two wheels. So far: the Indian Himalayas (2010), the Cambodian jungle (2011), the Bolivian Death Highway (2013), the vast Mongolian steppes (2014), the wilds of Patagonia (2015), the valleys of Nepal and Oopnarth (2016), the peaks of Tibet (2017), North Vietnam (2018) and now Tajikistan. All with a group of like minded individuals who should know better at their age! The adventure detoured on two legs in Morocco (Apr 2018) and Mt Elbrus (2019).

Pakistanistan Day -7 to Islamabad

Biker Dom is off on another adventure! This time on two wheels and not powered by my own steam. Our group of merry riders are off to what is arguably the original "stan": Pakistan!

Yes, it's been a while in the planning and been on my list of riding destinations since..., well, since I could ride; and finally it's all coming together.

And given the difficulties/expense of importing proper bikes into Pakistan, we'll be riding puny little 150cc mopeds, barely one step up from 125cc learner bikes. I'll bring my L-plates!

Before the riding phase, I'll be spending some time in Islamabad visiting friends and relatives.
